The Historic Preservation committee is going through boxes of papers and memorabilia. We plan to archivally preserve the significant materials so they can be available for study. Here's a sample of some of the photos we've come across. This undated photo shows the "Friendship Fireplace, the base of which still stands outside the Dining Hall. Two views of the Tabernacle in Laurel Park's heyday. Events could draw audiences of hundreds or even thousands at its peak. The stage was screened from view by sheets (below) to ensure that audiences would have to pay for admission.
Undated photo of the front gates and Normal Hall.
